Duality as Metaphor in A Course in Miracles
The excerpts presented here are from the workshop held at the New York Center in October 1993. This is a comprehensive study of what is to be taken literally and what is to be taken metaphorically in A Course in Miracles, and the distortions that result from not recognizing this difference between symbol and fact. This is explained in the context of the metaphysics of duality and separation, and what Jesus teaches about the world, joining, forgiveness, prayer, the Holy Spirit, himself, and the only reality: the non-dualistic Oneness of God and Christ. Teacher of God, your one assignment could be stated thus: Accept no compromise in which duality plays a part.
